Associate Cell Test Engineering Manager / Staff Cell Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead lifetime and reliability validation of battery cells
• ▹Develop test methodologies and mentor junior engineers
• ▹Manage lab resources, budgets and workflows
• ▹Define test plans, articles, methods and equipment; design experiments
• ▹Process raw data into reports for internal teams and suppliers
• ▹Design, assemble and commission test benches and software environments
• ▹Enforce health, safety and environmental standards

Requirements

• ▹Technical background in battery cell testing and development
• ▹Engineering degree or PhD with a hands-on mindset
• ▹Proven track record as a hands-on test engineer (planning, execution, root cause analysis, reporting)
• ▹4+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role
• ▹Strong organizational and strategic thinking, budgeting experience
• ▹Ability to adapt to a constantly changing technical environment

Nice to have

• ▹Experience commissioning test equipment and performing risk assessments
• ▹Coding experience with Python, Pytest, Git and/or C
• ▹Valid German driving license (Class B)
• ▹Fluent German
• ▹Knowledge of German safety standards (ASR/TRGS/TRBS/DGUV/VDE/DIN)
