(Junior) Data Engineer – Data Platform (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and operate the data platform
• ▹Handle data ingestion, transformation, quality assurance and monitoring
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data needs
• ▹Work with Google Cloud Platform tools (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataform)
• ▹Use SQLMesh, Terraform, GitHub Actions

Requirements

• ▹2+ years of data engineering experience
• ▹Strong understanding of data concepts at scale (ingestion, transformation, modeling)
• ▹Knowledge of software engineering best practices applied to data pipelines
• ▹Experience with Python, SQL and HCL (Terraform)
• ▹Extensive experience with a public cloud provider, ideally GCP

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with data governance (data catalog, IAM, metadata management)
• ▹IoT applications or streaming data processing (Dataflow, Beam, Flink)
• ▹Experience in a scale-up environment
• ▹Interest in the climate tech industry
