Responsibilities

• ▹Build data models, ETL processes and data warehouses in modern cloud environments
• ▹Develop and evaluate ML models, RAG systems and agent workflows on real, often incomplete data
• ▹Align independently with customers on technical topics at the operational level and navigate large customer databases
• ▹Prepare analytical results and translate them into comprehensible statements
• ▹Independently take on complex tasks and bring them to a convincing solution for the customer together with experienced colleagues

Requirements

• ▹Degree completed with very good grades in computer science, mathematics, physics, data science or a comparable field
• ▹At least 1 year of relevant professional experience outside of student jobs or internships
• ▹Very good Python skills
• ▹Practical experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP), data models, ETL and data warehousing, with depth in at least one of these areas
• ▹Experience with LLMs, RAG systems, agent workflows and common ML libraries (e.g. Hugging Face, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• ▹Enjoyment of direct customer contact and explaining analytical content clearly
• ▹Structured way of working and willingness to dig into unclear questions
• ▹Permanent residence in Germany and willingness to travel within the DACH region, with at least a monthly visit to the Hamburg office
• ▹Fluent German (at least C1)
