Lead Principal Product Manager - Robotics Automation Platform

You will work closely with strategic customers, scientists, laboratory operators, engineering, applied science, automation vendors, and OCI platform teams to turn real operating workflows into scalable product capabilities. Initially, you will lead product discovery, define the first pilot use cases, establish success measures, and recommend the investment and product plan needed to scale after pilot results are reviewed.

Location: Greater London or Oxford, United Kingdom. The role is hybrid and requires travel to a key customer’s Oxford office as needed for meetings, laboratory work, integration, and pilot support.

What You’ll Do

• Define the multi-year vision, product strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for Robotics Automation.

• Work directly with strategic customers, scientists, laboratory operators, and automation partners to understand workflows, constraints, unmet needs, and opportunities for automation.

• Observe and map manual, partially automated, and automated laboratory workflows to identify the highest-value product opportunities.

• Define and prioritize the first pilot use cases, including customer value, desired outcomes, acceptance criteria, success measures, and operational requirements.

• Define the product model for automated workflows, equipment and robot capabilities, access and approval rules, workflow policies, operational visibility, and exception handling.

• Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user journeys, policies, and engineering priorities.

• Define product requirements for integrating liquid handlers, robot arms, imaging systems, scientific instruments, sensors, ELN/LIMS platforms, workflow tools, and vendor software.
