Senior Software Engineer, Protocol (Rust)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop kona-node and Rust-based consensus-client infrastructure
• ▹Implement native account abstraction across the stack
• ▹Own features through their full lifecycle (architecture to deployment/monitoring)
• ▹Build rigorous conformance and adversarial tests
• ▹Execute safe protocol upgrades

Requirements

• ▹Proven track record shipping production, maintainable Rust systems
• ▹Deep knowledge of Ethereum (EVM, JSON-RPC, clients)
• ▹Understanding of distributed systems
• ▹Ability to communicate complex design decisions

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with op-node, kona or Reth implementations
• ▹Ability to read Go code and migrate it to Rust
• ▹Proficiency in Solidity for system-level contracts
