Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• ▹Designing, developing and implementing modern software solutions, and further developing existing systems
• ▹Testing, fault analysis, performance optimization, code reviews, technical documentation and deployment support
• ▹Contributing to architecture decisions, technology selection and coding guidelines
• ▹Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality, performance and maintainability
• ▹Testing (unit, integration, system), fault analysis, and support for deployments and releases
• ▹Mentoring junior developers and taking on a technical lead role within the team

Requirements

• ▹Completed technical education or degree (e.g. computer science) or comparable qualification with several years of relevant experience
• ▹At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a strongly regulated environment
• ▹Experience with different system architectures
• ▹Very good knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework; additional languages and frameworks are an advantage
• ▹Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. OpenShift, Azure or AWS)
• ▹Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and container technologies (e.g. GitLab and Kubernetes)

• ▹Additional programming languages and frameworks
• ▹Knowledge of a Southeast European language
