Frontend Quality Engineer (Test Automation)

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop, evolve and maintain automated frontend, UI and end-to-end tests
• ▹Continuously shape and optimize QA processes with a focus on user experience and modern interfaces
• ▹Plan, execute, coordinate and monitor software tests with meaningful reporting
• ▹Design and implement automated regression, cross-browser, performance, accessibility and security tests
• ▹Ensure high quality of modern web applications across different browsers, devices and screen sizes
• ▹Implement a sustainable continuous-testing strategy together with development, product owners and UX/UI teams
• ▹Act as an advisor and sparring partner for development, product owners and management on product quality, test coverage and usability

Requirements

• ▹Completed education in computer science, software development or a comparable qualification
• ▹Several years of experience in test automation of web applications, e.g. with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Serenity BDD, Jest or similar tools
• ▹Very good understanding of modern web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• ▹Know-how in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and UI/UX quality
• ▹Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitLab, and confident use of Git
• ▹Independent, solution-oriented way of working with a hands-on mentality and team spirit
• ▹High quality standards and enthusiasm for continuously improving products
• ▹Solid German and English skills (German at least C1 level)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue
• ▹Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7, DICOM or IHE
