Responsibilities

• ▹Design scalable and performant applications, systems and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB
• ▹Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimisation strategies, articulating business value
• ▹Partner closely with sales: account planning, opportunity prioritization, technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing and documentation
• ▹Generate demand through technical initiatives, industry trade shows and account-based marketing
• ▹Foster strong customer relationships and build champions

Requirements

• ▹5 to 8 years of related industry experience, ideally 2 years in a customer-facing role
• ▹Minimum 2 years of experience with modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#)
• ▹Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem
• ▹Demonstrated ability to review complex architectures and propose improvements
• ▹Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills conveying complex concepts clearly
• ▹Ability to work with a cross-functional sales team through a full deal cycle
• ▹Ability to travel up to 25%

Nice to have

• ▹Experience developing, deploying or supporting applications with major cloud providers
• ▹Experience in a technical pre-sales capacity
• ▹Experience with database programming and data models
• ▹Experience in data engineering or AI/ML projects
• ▹Understanding of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC / Command of the Message
• ▹MongoDB Certification
• ▹Cloud Provider Certification
