Software Engineer, Integrations

Responsibilities

• ▹Build new integrations (tools) on the North agentic platform and maintain the ones already in production
• ▹Own the integration pipeline: the process for adding a new tool, from design to shipping to ongoing maintenance
• ▹Help other engineers add integrations of their own
• ▹Create evals and tests to make sure integrations work as expected and alert on regressions
• ▹Tune tool descriptions to improve performance based on feedback and evals
• ▹Use AI actively in your work while staying accountable for quality and reliability

Requirements

• ▹Have shipped production code and are comfortable building integrations against external APIs
• ▹Comfortable with prompt engineering and tool-description tuning
• ▹Excel in fast-paced environments and can execute while priorities are a moving target

Nice to have

• ▹Background in evaluating agentic systems
