Senior Rust Engineer - High Frequency Trading (HFT)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop, and optimise low-latency, mission-critical trading systems
• ▹Own key trading stack components end-to-end, from architecture through production operation
• ▹Collaborate closely with quants, traders, and engineers to improve trading performance and resilience
• ▹Maintain and evolve trading infrastructure with focus on performance, stability, observability, and operational excellence
• ▹Troubleshoot complex production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market data handling
• ▹Drive engineering standards through technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring
• ▹Leverage AI-assisted workflows and drive automation of operational tasks
• ▹Contribute to functional, component, and production-readiness testing for critical trading components

Requirements

• ▹Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance, concurrent systems; proficiency with Tokio is a strong advantage
• ▹Hands-on experience in a systematic trading environment (HFT, Market Making, Quantitative Trading, or similar)
• ▹Solid understanding of execution, market data, and operational risk
• ▹Strong AWS and Linux expertise, including cloud infrastructure trade-offs
