Release Engineer / DevOps (Embedded Linux, Yocto)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Coordinate software releases, continuously align release planning, and maintain the related development branches
• ▹Administer, maintain and continuously develop the GitLab and CI/CD infrastructure
• ▹Optimize and automate build, test and release processes to reduce manual effort
• ▹Support maintenance of kernel patches and the Yocto environment, and verify software upgrades using suitable Linux testing procedures
• ▹Analyze, assess and prioritize security-relevant vulnerabilities, and initiate necessary measures

Requirements

• ▹Completed studies in computer science, software engineering or a comparable field, or an HTL degree with relevant professional experience
• ▹Solid Linux knowledge, ideally with experience in embedded Linux, Yocto and automated software testing
• ▹Very good knowledge of Git, GitLab and CI/CD pipeline design, plus experience with Python and/or Bash
• ▹Structured, detail-oriented and solution-focused way of working, with strong communication skills, initiative and a pronounced security awareness
