Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure and high-performing backend systems
• ▹Work on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems
• ▹Build REST APIs and engineer microservices
• ▹Evolve systems the business depends on, such as card payments, treasury management, transactions booking and crypto liquidity
• ▹Use Java as the primary backend language with a Postgres database
• ▹Use Spring Boot for quick and quality delivery
• ▹Apply TDD, DDD and continuous integration & delivery with a focus on clean, maintainable code

Requirements

• ▹Demonstrable backend development experience with fluency in Java
• ▹Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or another Engineering/Science discipline
• ▹Quick learner with an ambitious, results-driven personality
• ▹Excellent communication skills, fluent English (verbal and written)
• ▹Track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups
