Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

Responsibilities

• ▹Implementing and continuously optimizing data pipelines, data ingest, and data processing following best practices
• ▹Developing analytics platforms and efficient CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Delivering project-based business requirements using Databricks analytics services and, where needed, related services and databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• ▹Continuously upskilling in cloud and data engineering technologies to advise clients professionally

Requirements

• ▹Enthusiasm for data and analytics topics, staying current on technology trends
• ▹Completed university studies in computer science (or related field) or relevant professional experience
• ▹Experience with the cloud analytics ecosystem (especially Databricks with one of the hyperscalers: AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• ▹Development skills in Python, Scala, or Java, plus SQL
• ▹Initial experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• ▹Understanding of cloud strategies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and IaC technologies (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
• ▹Interest in varied, international projects, with occasional willingness to travel
