AI Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Partner with Finance, Sales, Ops & Product to identify high-ROI automation opportunities and evaluate them by business impact vs. technical effort
• ▹Design, prototype and deploy end-to-end AI workflows by building the orchestration stack (e.g. n8n, vector databases) and connecting endpoints via APIs
• ▹Build modular, reusable solutions across different departments
• ▹Establish AI guardrails while enabling AI champions in other departments to work with the automations themselves
• ▹Define and track success metrics — ROI, time saved, reliability

Requirements

• ▹"Product" mindset: treats internal tools like products, prioritizes business value over "perfect code" or "beautiful UI"
• ▹Technical fluency in Python, n8n, and API architecture
• ▹Hands-on experience with RAG and connecting LLMs to proprietary data sources
• ▹Prefers building "reasoning chains" and integrating existing tools over training custom models
• ▹Systems thinker: sees the company as interconnected data flows, builds modular solutions that scale across teams
• ▹Experience driving organizational change, explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• ▹Pragmatic innovator: would rather ship a working automation in two weeks than a perfect one in six months
