Junior BPM Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Use source control, ideally Git, to manage code changes
• ▹Follow core software development practices including analysis, requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance
• ▹Write professional, documented and well-tested code
• ▹Work with a Project Manager on estimates and project plans, or as part of an Agile/Scrum team
• ▹Integrate with REST services and handle JSON payloads
• ▹Communicate with internal and external project stakeholders

Requirements

• ▹2 or more years of experience working in a development team
• ▹Full understanding of source control principles such as Git, Perforce or SVN
• ▹Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
• ▹Proficiency in writing documented and well-tested code
• ▹Experience with Agile/Scrum practices or working with a Project Manager
• ▹Experience integrating with REST services and JSON payloads

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with BPM/Workflow and BPMN tools such as IBM BPM/BAW, Camunda, Appian, Flowable or Pega
• ▹Experience with low-code app development such as OutSystems or iPaaS tools like Workato or Boomi
• ▹Understanding of software and architectural patterns
• ▹Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• ▹Experience with Docker
• ▹Exposure to DevOps and building pipelines
• ▹Experience with DMN for business rules
• ▹Understanding of CI/CD, containers and agile methods
• ▹Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure and Kubernetes
• ▹Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent
