Senior Backend Developer (PHP)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop, test, document, release and support software from scratch
• ▹Enhance and refine existing API and backend systems
• ▹Integrate third-party solutions to broaden the payment ecosystem (acquirer, gateway, alternative payment methods, token platforms, verification/scoring/monitoring systems)
• ▹Run tests and set up testing environments for new features
• ▹Fix existing bugs and debug developed software
• ▹Prepare necessary technical documentation
• ▹Provide production support for implemented software
• ▹Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members

Requirements

• ▹Understanding of best practices for optimizing PHP code and web products, including caching and asynchrony
• ▹Knowledge of best practices for developing and supporting large-scale projects
• ▹Deep understanding of OOP
• ▹Deep understanding of Symfony
• ▹Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Symfony
• ▹Proficient in Doctrine ORM
• ▹Relational database management (PostgreSQL)
• ▹Proficiency optimizing complex SQL queries (query rewriting, indexing strategies, execution plans)
• ▹Proficient in designing database schemas, normalization, and entity-relationship modeling
• ▹Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker and its components (Docker Engine, Docker Hub, Docker Swarm)
• ▹Deep SOLID and GRASP understanding
• ▹Deep understanding of design patterns, their motivations, structures, and implementations
• ▹Knowledge of advanced DDD concepts (Domain Events, Domain Services, Bounded Contexts)
• ▹Ability to design a domain model for complex business problems
