Head of Design (North America/Europe - Remote)

Responsibilities

• ▹Own and set the overall design vision for the product, aligned with the company's long-term strategy
• ▹Lead the design of the entire platform and own the quality bar end to end
• ▹Lead the highest-stakes design work personally: discovery, research, prototyping, visual and interaction design
• ▹Own the design language, style guide and component library, keeping it coherent as the platform and team grow
• ▹Build and lead a lean, AI-leveraged design team; direct the work and run quality control
• ▹Raise the standard of the team through direct feedback and high expectations
• ▹Partner as an equal with Product and Engineering leadership on what to build, not just how it looks
• ▹Use research, analytics, experimentation and direct customer feedback to make design calls and prove impact

Requirements

• ▹A design leader who has set the quality bar at a product-led SaaS company within the last 5 years
• ▹Track record of raising the standard of designers around them through direct feedback, hiring and high expectations
• ▹Proven ownership of design direction end-to-end, from discovery through shipped features
• ▹Ability to work in a European or North American (up to East Coast) timezone
