Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines and transformation layers on Azure Data Lake Gen2 and Databricks
• ▹Own core dbt data models from source-aligned staging through marts and semantic layers for Power BI and Amplitude
• ▹Write production-grade Python for orchestration, custom ingestion, and transformation logic
• ▹Investigate and resolve pipeline failures within SLAs, leading root-cause analysis
• ▹Optimize pipeline performance and Databricks compute costs
• ▹Implement and maintain data quality frameworks such as dbt tests and Great Expectations
• ▹Instrument pipelines with monitoring, alerting, and lineage
• ▹Take on-call shifts and lead post-mortems for owned incidents
• ▹Define and maintain data contracts with Product Engineering, RevOps, and Finance
• ▹Contribute to the Central KPI and Metrics Glossary from a data lineage perspective
• ▹Act as technical owner of critical data domains such as subscriptions, billing, and product usage
• ▹Provide well-documented data models so embedded analysts can work independently
• ▹Champion LLM-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot across the analytics team
