Responsibilities

• ▹Design and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable web applications
• ▹Collaborate with product and research teams to build and ship new features
• ▹Contribute to all aspects of the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring

Requirements

• ▹Significant experience with back-end applications
• ▹Solid understanding of JavaScript
• ▹Familiarity with Node.js
• ▹Experience with TypeScript
• ▹Good knowledge of web architecture (URIs, HTTP, caching, etc.)
• ▹Proficiency in Git version control
• ▹Familiarity with the UNIX terminal
• ▹Excellent knowledge of English, verbal and written
• ▹Solid understanding of relational databases

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Knowledge Graphs and graph databases such as Neo4J
• ▹Experience with full-text search databases such as ElasticSearch
• ▹Good understanding of GraphQL
• ▹Experience with Docker
• ▹Experience with a functional programming language
• ▹Experience with AWS or Google Cloud
