Application Developer III

Software Engineer • Senior • Remote • Full-time European Union EU/EMEA

Technical Lead role for PMI's Azure Integration & Digital Applications Team, designing and delivering cloud-native backend services and modern front-end web applications across PMI's eCommerce, Membership, Learning, CRM, Payment, and Digital Experience platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Technical Lead for the Azure Integration & Digital Applications Team
  • Design and deliver modern cloud-native solutions across backend services and customer-facing web experiences
  • Lead development of scalable enterprise platforms, APIs, integrations, and web applications for eCommerce, Membership, Learning, CRM, Payment, and Digital Experience ecosystems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies
  • 5+ years of hands-on Azure development experience
  • Backend: C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture
  • Cloud and integration: Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, API Management, Storage, SQL, Key Vault, Application Insights
  • Front-end: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SPA development, responsive design
  • DevOps: Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD

Nice to have

  • Experience implementing enterprise integration patterns
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, resiliency, and cloud-native architecture design
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms (CRM, ERP, eCommerce, Membership Systems, Learning Management Systems, Payment Platform)
  • Demonstrated experience building distributed technology solutions on cloud technologies
  • Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Systems integration experience
