Responsibilities

• ▹Understand client needs and turn them into scalable architecture
• ▹Design the system and choose the technology stack for new builds
• ▹Write and review production code, prototype when needed
• ▹Assess existing systems and APIs for reuse or replacement
• ▹Work directly with client stakeholders, product owners and developers
• ▹Document architecture clearly for the team to build from
• ▹Keep technical direction consistent as things evolve
• ▹Guide the implementation team on hard technical calls
• ▹Run client workshops and technical discovery sessions

Requirements

• ▹7+ years in software delivery, including 3+ as a Solution Architect or senior backend/technical lead
• ▹5+ years writing production code in Python, Java or Kotlin
• ▹Hands-on AWS or Azure experience
• ▹API design, event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ) and microservices/integration patterns
• ▹Comfortable with relational and NoSQL databases
• ▹Experience building custom software, not just wiring up SaaS tools
• ▹Solid grasp of Agile and DevOps delivery
• ▹Experience running workshops and architecture reviews with US/UK clients
• ▹Business-level English (C1+)
• ▹Willingness to keep CET-overlapping hours
