JVM Tooling Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Extend developer tooling: IDEs, CI/CD systems
• ▹Debug and profile memory and GC issues on the JVM
• ▹Build complex software systems
• ▹Apply AI-assisted development practices
• ▹Analyze issues and propose and implement solutions together with other developers
• ▹Work with external teams and processes

Requirements

• ▹Advanced Scala or Java skills
• ▹Advanced AI-assisted development experience
• ▹Advanced functional programming knowledge
• ▹Proficiency with Java, Scala, or other JVM-based languages
• ▹Experience debugging and profiling memory and GC issues on the JVM
• ▹Experience building complex software systems
• ▹Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• ▹Ability to work as part of a team and communicate well
• ▹Working hours in GMT+3, GMT+4, or GMT+5 timezones
• ▹Advanced English

Nice to have

• ▹Python or TypeScript knowledge
• ▹Angular or React knowledge
• ▹Experience extending developer tooling (IDEs, CI/CD systems)
• ▹Python tooling experience
