Full Stack Developer (Ongoing)

Responsibilities

• ▹Write clean, modular, scalable code responsible for handling millions of records
• ▹Design new features from the ground up based on a given set of specs
• ▹Build automated tests and help improve and maintain the current test set
• ▹Liaise with the Customer Support Team, resolving technical issues and improving the service
• ▹Work with a team of developers, designers, and product owners to build a Multi-location Inventory feature
• ▹Help complete recurring Meta Security Assessments
• ▹Create an Import/Export tool in CSV to quickly manage stock
• ▹Implement a barcode scan in React Native for the mobile app
• ▹Work with the Design Team to set up the infrastructure for the UI Design System
• ▹Work directly with the client-based and Support Team, triaging and fixing production issues
• ▹Model a new database structure in UML for an upcoming Gift Cards feature

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Informatics or a related field
• ▹Proven professional experience in OO programming and web development
• ▹Attentive to detail, delivering maintainable, efficient, and reliable code
• ▹Experienced in MySQL or other relational databases
• ▹Familiar with version-control and automated testing tools
• ▹Comfortable working in JSON/XML/CSV formats and with HTML/CSS
• ▹Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails is a plus (candidates without it will still be considered)
• ▹Good English communication and teamwork skills
