Change & Release Coordinator

A European institution project is looking for a Change & Release Coordinator to work remotely within the EU, closely cooperating with the client's IT team.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operational changes and releases of all live service elements, focusing on planning, resource/activity coordination and version control
  • Ensure Change and Release Management KPIs are reported and their targets met
  • Coordinate with DevSecOps Engineers and other technical teams on deployments, automation improvements and release optimisation
  • Collaborate with project and operational teams to ensure effective system change and release implementation
  • Assist in setting up support models and managing the transition of projects and new services into business-as-usual
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and third parties to ensure timely change and release implementation

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or a relevant discipline, plus minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations and/or IT service management and delivery
  • Experience working within ITIL-aligned frameworks and structured change/release-management processes
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL service management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Event, Knowledge Management)
  • Proficiency with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and configuration-management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority, competing efforts and adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities
  • ITIL Foundation certification or higher is mandatory
  • Excellent command of English

  • Agile or DevOps certification and/or project management certification
