R Developer with Bio Background

Software Engineer • Mid-level • Remote • Full-time Poland Poland

An R developer proficient in statistical programming and clinical data standards (CDISC) is sought to work on drug development and clinical trial projects using R and Shiny applications.

Requirements

  • Proficient in R for statistical programming, data manipulation, and visualization
  • Knowledge of CDISC standards (e.g., SDTM, ADaM, SEND) and industry best practices
  • Experience in TLF (Tables, Listings, and Figures) programming
  • Understanding of validation principles within a GxP environment
  • Experience with Medical Data Review and Pharmacovigilance
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end drug development lifecycle and clinical trial workflows
  • Experience in requirements gathering and backlog management
  • Master's degree in bioinformatics or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Valid passport (if based outside Poland) or ID (if based in Poland)
  • Must be located in EMEA or LATAM

Nice to have

  • Experience building web applications or websites using R/Shiny
  • Experience designing and maintaining reproducible data processing pipelines (e.g., Nextflow)
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts in molecular biology and bioinformatics
  • Experience using bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., Bioconductor, BLAST, NCBI, EMBL, PDB, PubMed)
  • Experience creating and maintaining R packages
  • Experience collaborating with scientists and clinical researchers
