Senior Python Software Engineer / RDM

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Implement new backend features in Python within a microservices architecture
• ▹Develop and enhance AWS Lambda functions
• ▹Design and develop REST APIs for web and mobile applications
• ▹Integrate with AWS services (DynamoDB, SQS, Kinesis, Cognito, S3, CloudWatch)
• ▹Create and maintain infrastructure as code with CloudFormation
• ▹Monitor systems, analyze logs, and optimize microservices using Datadog and CloudWatch
• ▹Troubleshoot production issues, debug, and refactor code
• ▹Collaborate with frontend teams, QA, architects, and product owners
• ▹Participate in Agile processes (sprint planning, refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives)

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 3 years of experience in Python backend development
• ▹Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
• ▹Knowledge of queue systems like SQS
• ▹Familiarity with JWT/OAuth
• ▹Ability to create automated tests using PyTest
• ▹Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
• ▹Experience working in microservice architecture
• ▹English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Terraform (IaC)
• ▹Knowledge of React/Angular for collaboration with frontend teams
• ▹Experience in IoT/HVAC/embedded projects
• ▹Familiarity with Datadog (APM, RUM)
• ▹Understanding of event-driven architecture
• ▹Experience integrating with legacy systems
