Responsibilities

• ▹Perform statistical analyses in R, Python, SPSS, and MAXQDA, under guidance with growing independence
• ▹Review methodology sections of dissertations for correctness and clarity
• ▹Explain simple methods to doctoral candidates in writing and conversation
• ▹Support senior consultants on more complex mandates
• ▹Take on smaller mandates independently once technically confident
• ▹Use AI and automation tools to make analyses more efficient

Requirements

• ▹Enrolled student in statistics, psychology (empirical/quantitative), social sciences (quantitative), econometrics, business administration with an empirical focus, mathematics, public health (quantitative), or a comparable field
• ▹At least 4th-semester Bachelor's or Master's student
• ▹At least 12 months of remaining study time
• ▹Current statistics practice: recent, concrete use of SPSS, R, or Python
• ▹Experience explaining methods, e.g. as a tutor or teaching assistant
• ▹Structured, methodical way of working
• ▹Personal accountability and reliability in meeting deadlines
• ▹German at C2 level

Nice to have

• ▹Prior tutoring experience, e.g. Studienkreis or teaching assistance
