Senior Consultant – Energy & Utility (all genders)

Responsibilities

• ▹Defining and implementing IT, cloud and AI strategies
• ▹Conducting process analyses and identifying digitalization potential
• ▹Developing governance structures and strategic transformation concepts
• ▹Owning digitalization initiatives across the entire energy value chain (generation, transmission, distribution, sales, customer service)
• ▹Designing solution approaches, target operating models, program steering and project management
• ▹Accompanying projects from strategy development through implementation
• ▹Building and introducing management tools and IT/OT convergence solutions, e.g. smart grids
• ▹Analyzing and optimizing organizational structures, business processes and IT architectures
• ▹Supporting pitch preparation and developing tailored client solutions

Requirements

• ▹5-7 years of consulting experience, including in the energy sector
• ▹Practical experience at an energy utility or in industry-relevant projects
• ▹Degree in economics, energy-related fields or natural sciences (e.g. energy management, renewable energy, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics)
• ▹Affinity for digitalization and information technology
• ▹Solid knowledge of common consulting methods and tools
• ▹Willingness to innovate and take on responsibility
• ▹Strategic mindset and strong understanding of business processes in the energy sector
• ▹Enthusiasm for driving the energy transition
• ▹Willingness to travel

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of metering and IT/OT convergence, and in selecting and implementing relevant platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira)
• ▹Experience defining and implementing IT, cloud and AI strategies
• ▹Experience with project management methods (PRINCE2, Agile, Six Sigma) and IT service management (ITSM)
• ▹AI skills and initial experience building and implementing AI initiatives
