Information Security Consultant – Remote

Responsibilities

• ▹Advising clients on developing, implementing and reviewing security concepts, in a (partial) project lead role
• ▹Conducting IT risk analyses and implementing and developing security standards and processes
• ▹Proactively identifying customer needs: documenting, reviewing and assessing processes
• ▹Jointly designing goal-oriented, tailored solutions with clients, speaking 'their language'
• ▹Supporting the implementation and further development of ISMS at client organizations
• ▹Improving the risk situation and information security by initiating, coordinating and monitoring recommended actions

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, business informatics or comparable, or equivalent IT training, plus several years of relevant professional experience in the IT security industry
• ▹Experience introducing and developing information security management systems (ISMS) per ISO27001 and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz
• ▹High level of analytical ability, independent work and responsibility in a (partial) project lead role, along with strong availability and willingness to travel
• ▹Convincing communication skills with very good German and English, service- and customer-oriented working style

Nice to have

• ▹Initial exposure to the B3S standard
• ▹Knowledge of creating IT security, contingency and operations concepts, and risk analyses per ISO27005
• ▹Initial audit experience and industry-recognized personal certifications
• ▹Project management knowledge (e.g. PRINCE2) in a healthcare sector context
