Oracle Database Administrator (m/f/d) (Germany-wide)

Responsibilities

• ▹Plan, install, administer and maintain Windows-based Oracle databases (single database / Data Guard)
• ▹Plan and carry out database migrations and upgrades
• ▹Restore database operations after OS or hardware failures
• ▹Analyze and resolve reported system faults
• ▹Provide 2nd-level support to the clinical information system (KIS) support team for DB incidents
• ▹Carry out measures to optimize database performance
• ▹Expand the technical documentation

Requirements

• ▹Completed vocational training or degree in IT, or a comparable qualification
• ▹Solid knowledge of administering Oracle databases on Windows
• ▹Experience with database migrations, upgrades, and backup/recovery procedures (e.g. RMAN)
• ▹Knowledge of analyzing and resolving faults and optimizing Oracle database performance
• ▹Experience in 2nd-level support and working with ticketing systems
• ▹Teamwork, structured, results-oriented and independent way of working
• ▹Very good German and good English
