(Senior) Analytics Engineer (f/m/d)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Own data modeling and the semantic layer everything else is built on
• ▹Move every remaining pipeline onto dlt, in Python
• ▹Make the stack reliable by default: scheduling, monitoring, infrastructure as code
• ▹Run the self-hosted Lightdash, down to the deployment
• ▹Make conversational analytics work, so people can ask in plain language and trust the answer

Requirements

• ▹4+ years in analytics or data engineering, ideally having owned the whole stack
• ▹Real opinions on dimensional modeling, layering and contracts
• ▹dbt experience beyond writing SQL models: materializations, incremental strategies, macros, CI
• ▹Production-quality Python, with a proper understanding of ingestion (APIs, pagination, incremental loads, schema drift)
• ▹Comfortable owning deployed infrastructure

Nice to have

• ▹dlt experience
• ▹Scheduling with Airflow, Dagster or similar
