Consumer Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop consumer products from concept through to mass production
• ▹Focus primarily on consumer product development, with the opportunity to work across other sectors such as medical, life science and defence
• ▹Work across the whole development lifecycle for clients, from concept to delivery

Requirements

• ▹A proven track record of developing and implementing electronic designs using a professional workflow (Altium and Cadence tools)
• ▹Well versed in core electronics disciplines including analogue and digital circuit design, with experience using the latest embedded platforms
• ▹Demonstrable experience balancing design BOM cost requirements with wider project requirements
• ▹Exposure to the full product lifecycle from concept generation through to product launch and ongoing improvement, including significant demonstrable experience delivering designs into service / mass production
• ▹A good understanding of the UK, EU and US regulatory landscape and a proven track record of designing for compliance with the relevant standards
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable explaining complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
