Experienced/Senior Online Developer - Tech Team

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and deploy web applications to support the in-house engine team
• ▹Maintain and improve existing tools
• ▹Develop integrations with third-party APIs
• ▹Support application deployments
• ▹Collaborate and communicate effectively with other teams
• ▹Contribute to improving development practices within a growing team
• ▹Produce performant and well-documented code
• ▹Successfully develop and deploy new tools to support the game teams
• ▹Respond to bugs and issues as they arise, providing timely resolution

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience as a back-end developer
• ▹Experience working within the games industry
• ▹Strong experience with Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript
• ▹Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Vue and React
• ▹Experience with databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases
• ▹Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud environments
• ▹Experience with software development tools and version control systems
• ▹Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Git; Perforce experience is desirable
• ▹Comfortable modifying/maintaining applications written in other languages such as PHP
• ▹Experience writing serverless functions (AWS Lambda/Azure Functions)

About the company
