Tools Programmer: Audio

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain an in-house audio toolset that supports the creation and implementation of in-game audio assets
• ▹Closely collaborate with other members of the Audio team and the wider Rockstar Tools team
• ▹Maintain awareness of relevant technologies and modern UI standards, driving their adoption within the toolset
• ▹Balance meeting short-term user needs with long-term development of the audio tool suite, identifying opportunities to optimise workflows

Requirements

• ▹A degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• ▹Excellent .NET/C# skills

Nice to have

• ▹An interest in games and interactive sound/music
• ▹Familiarity with commercial audio content creation software
• ▹Experience of intuitive user interface design and implementation for complex data
• ▹Knowledge of audio synthesis and DSP
• ▹Experience programming in C++
• ▹Experience building applications using the WPF framework
