Software Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Execute full lifecycle software development
• ▹Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• ▹Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• ▹Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• ▹Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• ▹Document and maintain software functionality
• ▹Analyze and resolve software errors
• ▹Assist in development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines
• ▹Resolve problems with software products or company software systems working with network administrators, systems analysts and software engineers
• ▹Assist in deployments and server updates and upgrades
• ▹Assist in QA testing of larger features prior to deployment
• ▹Support the sales team with technical product information and demonstrations

Requirements

• ▹Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• ▹Strong object-oriented application experience with PHP 5 or greater
• ▹Symfony or similar PHP Zend framework knowledge
• ▹MySQL or other relational database experience
• ▹Experience with Git version control
• ▹Familiar with Agile methodology
• ▹Amazon Web Services
• ▹Vagrant or Docker
• ▹jQuery, Less, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5
• ▹Linux Ubuntu servers
• ▹Written communication skills: format, proof-read, and edit
• ▹Professionalism, self-motivation, and confidentiality
• ▹Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ▹Occasional travel may be required

Nice to have

• ▹Familiar with C# and the .NET Framework
• ▹React.js and node.js
• ▹Doctrine Entity Framework experience
