Senior/Staff Product Designer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead design projects end-to-end using user-centered design processes
• ▹Collaborate with designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to understand requirements and negotiate trade-offs
• ▹Design for edge cases, failure states, and operational risks in high-stakes environments
• ▹Develop a working understanding of the ML and AI technologies used in the products
• ▹Contribute to and evolve an established design system, maintaining cohesion across the product

Requirements

• ▹6+ years working in Product Design or related fields
• ▹Proven ability to translate operational complexity and ambiguity into simple, intuitive experiences
• ▹Demonstrable experience working cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
• ▹Understanding and application of a range of user research methodologies
• ▹Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, prototyping tools, research tools, design systems, AI-powered design workflows)
• ▹Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and programming concepts to communicate with engineers
• ▹Must be eligible to obtain a US government clearance
• ▹Must have an online design portfolio
