Digital AEM Analyst

The Digital AEM Analyst manages, optimizes, and enhances the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, including Sites and DAM, working closely with Product Managers, developers, and UX teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Managers to define clear, actionable requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ideate, develop, and deploy digital initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Translate concepts into structured IT requirements aligned with product roadmaps
  • Convert customer insights and market intelligence into technical specifications and user stories
  • Configure and manage AEM functionalities: workflows, metadata schemas, templates, components, asset migration
  • Maintain and optimize AEM Sites and DAM, ensuring adherence to metadata standards and taxonomy
  • Streamline publishing workflows with content, development, and UX teams
  • Support integrations with Adobe tools such as Analytics, Target, and Workfront
  • Define KPIs, oversee testing, develop UAT scenarios
  • Troubleshoot platform issues with technical teams
  • Manage and prioritize backlog items with IT teams
  • Support AEM service pack upgrades and ongoing platform maintenance
  • Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to business users
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, developers, and platform owners
  • Document business and functional requirements through user stories and acceptance criteria

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Digital Product Management, project/program management
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (Sites/DA, DAM), including workflows, metadata standards, taxonomy governance
  • Experience with AEM customization end-to-end (templates, components, workflows), familiarity with front-end/back-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java preferred)
  • Experience with workflows, metadata, and integrations in practice
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and release management processes
  • Comfortable working with global business and product teams
  • Experience translating business needs into requirements, user stories, and test cases
  • Proven troubleshooting ability
