Adjunct Faculty - Game Business and Esports (Remote-FL)

Responsibilities

• ▹Create an environment of learning through effective teaching skills, updating curriculum to keep it current and relevant to industry standards
• ▹Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and encourage active learning
• ▹Create learning activities (assignments, tests, quizzes, labs) and assess student outcomes
• ▹Perform lectures for campus courses and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses
• ▹Interact positively with diverse student populations
• ▹Maintain knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education

Requirements

• ▹Minimum of four (4) years of related and verifiable work experience
• ▹Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) degree in digital media, marketing, business, broadcast production, or management from an accredited college or university
• ▹Must reside in the State of Florida
• ▹Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• ▹Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
• ▹Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• ▹Proficiency using software such as MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint and Outlook

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in game business and operations
• ▹Knowledge of the game product lifecycle
• ▹Experience with gaming cultures
• ▹Proficiency in event production
• ▹Project management skills
• ▹Experience navigating, populating, managing, and assessing materials in a learning management system
