Responsibilities

• ▹Solve open research problems, e.g. estimating the likelihood that LLM-produced information is true
• ▹Devise innovative solutions and build evals to validate them
• ▹Research LLMs and epistemics: search, forecasting, judgment, establishing truth of claims
• ▹Create benchmarks or datasets to evaluate AI systems

Requirements

• ▹Background in math, physics, CS or an equivalent quantitative field
• ▹Currently studying modern AI systems and how they affect the world

Nice to have

• ▹Experience researching LLMs
• ▹Experience researching epistemics: search, forecasting, judgment, establishing truth of claims
• ▹Experience creating benchmarks or datasets to evaluate AI systems
