Responsibilities

• ▹Install, configure and maintain Linux servers in physical and virtualized environments using Proxmox
• ▹Manage system infrastructure including DNS, network file systems and server virtualization
• ▹Automate system tasks using Ansible for efficient, repeatable server setups
• ▹Design, implement and operate CI/CD pipelines for Laravel-based applications using Git (GitLab CI/GitHub Actions), including automated builds, tests, zero-downtime deployments and rollbacks
• ▹Implement and monitor backup procedures across multiple platforms and systems
• ▹Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and keep hardware/software updated
• ▹Implement security best practices including regular updates, patches, firewall configuration and intrusion detection
• ▹Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers on technical requirements
• ▹Identify system risks and vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience as a Linux system administrator with hands-on expertise in Ansible, Proxmox, DNS management and backups
• ▹Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and related technologies
• ▹Experience with system security practices including firewalls, intrusion detection systems and secure network protocols
• ▹Ability to document system configurations and changes for consistency and maintainability
