Project Manager - Ubuntu Embedded Systems

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage projects through their complete life cycle, meeting both Canonical and client goals
• ▹Successfully deliver engineering professional services for assigned projects
• ▹Work with engineering teams on custom board enablement and Ubuntu image delivery
• ▹Assist in developing project statements of work
• ▹Draft and maintain project schedules and plans
• ▹Manage project risk mitigation and plans
• ▹Maintain daily and weekly communication with the client and internal stakeholders
• ▹Manage delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables

Requirements

• ▹Solid project management experience delivering engineering services to customers
• ▹Experience managing cross-cultural, multi-continent project teams (Asia, Europe, Americas)
• ▹Educational degree, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math
• ▹Good knowledge of Linux and the open source community, understanding of computer architecture
• ▹Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
