Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Optimize the homegrown recruiting DSL-to-SQL compiler and build developer tooling around it
• ▹Create automated guardrails for the security and privacy of customer data
• ▹Help developers ship features fast via canary deploys, gradual rollouts, and feature flags
• ▹Work with the business and engineering to define SLOs and implement corresponding SLIs
• ▹Ensure external service communication supports retries and circuit-breakers
• ▹Implement infrastructure to support an event-driven architecture and data warehouse
• ▹Own infrastructure projects end-to-end

Requirements

• ▹Experience building infrastructure at a later, larger stage than an early startup
• ▹Comfortable with SQL and using it to advise on performant data models
• ▹Willingness to code — reviewing and submitting code changes as part of daily work
• ▹Strong async written communication skills
• ▹Track record of delivering projects independently without close oversight
• ▹Experience automating provisioning, monitoring, and release processes

Nice to have

• ▹Kubernetes debugging experience
• ▹TypeScript experience
• ▹Comfort working across both platform engineering and SRE-style responsibilities
