Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Build and maintain high-performance microservices in Go
• ▹Implement and document gRPC and RESTful APIs
• ▹Write efficient queries and design schemas for DynamoDB, Elasticsearch and MySQL
• ▹Work within event-driven architecture patterns and maintain distributed systems
• ▹Write clean, testable code with unit and integration test coverage
• ▹Partner with DevOps to monitor service health and support production deployments
• ▹Troubleshoot production issues to maintain high availability
• ▹Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily standups

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of production-ready service development in Go within a microservices architecture
• ▹Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, Elasticsearch and MySQL, including schema design
• ▹Familiarity with gRPC and RESTful APIs
• ▹Knowledge of distributed architecture patterns, Go routines and channels
• ▹Exposure to AWS and cloud-native services
• ▹Proficiency with Git and collaborative development practices
• ▹Experience designing and implementing features using AI-powered workflows
