Lead NetOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and lead complex network solutions across data centers, remote sites, and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP), including firewall, routing, switching, VPN, and BGP
• ▹Implement advanced infrastructure-as-code patterns (remote state, modules, workspaces)
• ▹Design automation and IaC solutions for multi-vendor network platforms (FortiGate, Aruba, Juniper)
• ▹Triage, debug, and resolve complex production issues
• ▹Act as a technical mentor and coach for engineers
• ▹Help shape the team's technical roadmap
• ▹Join the on-call rotation, leading incident resolution
• ▹Maintain the health, performance, and security of global infrastructure using observability tools (Datadog)

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
• ▹At least 5 years of network administration experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs
• ▹Including at least 3 years of cloud networking experience across AWS, GCP, and hybrid data center connectivity
• ▹Proven ability to architect, build, and scale complex network infrastructure
• ▹Strong track record of mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions
• ▹Hands-on experience with Aruba switching and FortiGate firewalls
• ▹Strong understanding of BGP, routing, switching, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity
• ▹Experience with infrastructure as code, Git-based (GitOps) workflows, and scripting in Python and Bash
• ▹Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog) and AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude, Codex, Gemini)
