Security Control Specialist (fluent Ukrainian)

Responsibilities

• ▹Conduct full-cycle investigation and coordination of the response to security or workflow breaches
• ▹Communicate with clients and stakeholders during data breach incidents
• ▹Perform Root Cause Analysis, develop preventive measures, and prepare reports for top management
• ▹Analyze clients' operational processes in light of incidents to identify potential threats and formulate recommendations for proactive security improvement
• ▹Vet the security of vendors, software platforms, and third-party services
• ▹Audit new hiring locations for compliance with data protection standards and implementation of security tools
• ▹Prepare incident management documentation and procedures, and maintain the internal knowledge base

Requirements

• ▹1+ year of experience investigating and handling information security incidents
• ▹Experience preparing documentation and developing incident management procedures
• ▹Analytical thinking and the ability to make quick decisions to minimize incident impact
• ▹High level of self-organization and task prioritization
• ▹Understanding of personal data protection principles and breach notification rules
• ▹English B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• ▹Experience using OSINT tools and methods in investigations
• ▹Experience vetting the security of vendors, software platforms, and third-party services
• ▹Basic understanding of security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, NGFW, VPN, VDI)
