QA Engineer - Automation & Manual (Remote/Thessaloniki)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases for complex eGovernment software systems
• ▹Prepare test plans, test cases and test reports ensuring traceability of requirements
• ▹Use tools such as Selenium, SoapUI and JMeter to build and maintain automated test suites
• ▹Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and system engineers to ensure software quality
• ▹Participate in integration and performance testing of highly technical systems
• ▹Identify, log and track bugs, and work with the team to ensure timely resolution
• ▹Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools and practices

Requirements

• ▹University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering
• ▹Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• ▹Academic or professional experience in software testing (manual and automated)
• ▹Good understanding of test design techniques and the software development lifecycle
• ▹Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• ▹Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Nice to have

• ▹Hands-on experience with Selenium, SoapUI and JMeter
• ▹Experience with JIRA software and management of the full testing cycle
• ▹Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Java, Groovy or Python) for automation
