QA Engineer - Automation & Manual (Remote/Thessaloniki)

QA / Test Engineer • Entry-level • Remote • Full-time Greece Greece

An experienced QA Engineer is sought for automated and manual testing on international eGovernment web development projects, working fully remotely or from the Thessaloniki office.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases for complex eGovernment software systems
  • Prepare test plans, test cases and test reports ensuring traceability of requirements
  • Use tools such as Selenium, SoapUI and JMeter to build and maintain automated test suites
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and system engineers to ensure software quality
  • Participate in integration and performance testing of highly technical systems
  • Identify, log and track bugs, and work with the team to ensure timely resolution
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools and practices

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Academic or professional experience in software testing (manual and automated)
  • Good understanding of test design techniques and the software development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, SoapUI and JMeter
  • Experience with JIRA software and management of the full testing cycle
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Java, Groovy or Python) for automation
