AI Automation Team Lead (Remote, Contract)

Responsibilities

• ▹Solve real problems across different departments
• ▹Challenge legacy systems and processes, build better solutions
• ▹Propose creative solutions
• ▹Evaluate business value, calculate ROI and prioritize incoming automation requests
• ▹Design and build integrations connecting new AI tooling with core database systems
• ▹Manage stakeholders and coordinate/delegate work for a small team of 3-4 members

Requirements

• ▹Practical experience writing Python scripts for automation and data manipulation
• ▹Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• ▹Experience with data flow design and process redesign
• ▹Hands-on experience with no-code/low-code platforms (n8n, Zapier) alongside custom code
• ▹Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity
• ▹Strong analytical thinking and data fluency
• ▹Experience with AI tools (e.g. Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Gemini, n8n) and automations
• ▹Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with vibe-coding or rapid prototyping
• ▹Experience leading change initiatives or technical teams
• ▹Experience migrating legacy automated processes to modern, code-based or AI-assisted infrastructure
