Responsibilities

• ▹Operate and improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure in close collaboration with software developers
• ▹Own GitOps-based continuous delivery with ArgoCD and declarative configuration using Kustomize, deployed through CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Manage Kubernetes clusters end-to-end, including provisioning, scaling, access control, and cost/performance optimization
• ▹Run self-managed on-premises Kubernetes alongside Azure-managed clusters, including networking and storage infrastructure
• ▹Automate operational tasks and ensure infrastructure remains reproducible, scalable, and well-documented
• ▹Apply modern containerization and cloud-native best practices
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in Kubernetes environments
• ▹Document work clearly and accurately

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of experience in a DevOps role
• ▹Strong hands-on Kubernetes operations experience (pods, services, deployments, ingress, persistent volumes), maintaining healthy production clusters through upgrades, scaling, patching, and incident response
• ▹Experience with GitOps delivery using ArgoCD and declarative configuration with Kustomize, or strong equivalent experience
• ▹Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• ▹Solid experience with Docker and container registries
• ▹Linux administration experience and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• ▹Automation-first mindset
• ▹Ability to prioritize, make decisions, execute independently, and collaborate

Nice to have

• ▹Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform)
• ▹Exposure to on-premises virtualization platforms (Proxmox) or bare-metal Kubernetes
• ▹Observability and monitoring tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Azure Application Insights)
• ▹Knowledge of Azure security tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud)
• ▹Database administration experience, particularly MSSQL and PostgreSQL
• ▹Familiarity with AWS
• ▹Experience with API testing tools (Postman)
• ▹Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or Azure (AZ-104, AZ-400) certifications
