Responsibilities

• ▹Analyse SAP system landscapes and identify performance bottlenecks
• ▹Provide expert recommendations on system configuration and optimisation
• ▹Advise on changes needed for optimal performance of external tools and processes
• ▹Review architecture across SAP versions and database platforms
• ▹Guide best practices for system performance tuning and data volume management
• ▹Support planning for data migrations, system carve-outs, and upgrades
• ▹Collaborate with technical and functional teams
• ▹Provide database-level input across Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA
• ▹Analyse ABAP-related performance issues (traces, dumps, inefficient programs)

Requirements

• ▹Strong background in SAP Basis architecture and performance optimisation
• ▹Experience across multiple SAP versions (ECC, S/4HANA)
• ▹Deep understanding of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SAP HANA
• ▹Working knowledge of ABAP performance analysis
• ▹Proven experience in SAP data migration, carve-out, and upgrade projects
• ▹Ability to assess complex landscapes and give clear recommendations
• ▹Strong understanding of key SAP tables and data structures

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in S/4HANA conversions or transformation programmes
• ▹Exposure to SAP functional processes (FI, MM, SD)
• ▹Experience advising in high-impact or large-scale environments
• ▹Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
