Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement new features and applications together with the Product Owner
• ▹Fix bugs in the existing application
• ▹Write tests and run them on CI
• ▹Manually test features on the staging environment

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of commercial Ruby on Rails experience
• ▹Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• ▹Excellent understanding of SQL and comfortable using Linux
• ▹Full-stack ability to deliver functionality with minimal help from others
• ▹Understanding and use of Object Oriented Programming concepts
• ▹Appreciation for good code-level testing
• ▹Excellent spoken and written English
• ▹Must be based in the EEA (European Economic Area)
• ▹Available Monday to Friday within core hours of 10:00-16:00 Irish time

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Azure DevOps and Ansible
• ▹Knowledge of Turbolinks, Turbo, Hotwire and Stimulus, Kamal
• ▹React.js experience
